SPRING TWILIGHT NETBALL IS BACK -Registration details

Spring Twilight is back and we look forward to seeing you all take the courts. SHNA is holding a junior, teen and senior mixed netball competition. This competition is social and fun and we welcome new players.

Registration details:


If you have a full team to enter, register your team using the following link:

You will then receive an email with a unique link to send to all your players so they can register in your team.


If you are an individual wanting to play and need to be placed into a team, please email our registrar with your name and preferred division. You will be sent a team unique code.

(Please note that SHNA will do its best to fill teams but cannot guarantee availability at time of registration)


Financial Details

New Registration – based on 6/3-month registration with Netball NSW:

(3-month registration option will start 1st of October, register prior to this to access the 6-month option)


Juniors 8-9 years *Woolworths Netsetgo $104.00

Juniors 10-17 years $82.00

Seniors 18+ $98.00


All ages – Currently holding a 12-month Registration with Netball Australia & Netball NSW $30.00


Senior: Have reached or will reach the age of 18 by 31 December in the year of play.

Junior: Have reached or will reach the ages of between 10 and 17 years by December 31 in the year of play


Netball Australia & Netball New South Wales set the fee structure, New registrations for 8-9 year olds have to register into the Woolworths Netsetgo option. Children will receive a Woolworths Netsetgo t-shirt and netball included with this registration.

Netball New South Wales offer a nine-month membership. This is not recommended as a 12-month membership will be available in January. The 12-month membership is the most cost-effective way if playing Summer Twilight/Winter Competition/Spring twilight.

PLAYER PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED FOR 2022 Players who HAVE registered (12 month registration) in the 2022 season and still hold a valid registration until the end of the competition they’re entering are not liable to pay the Netball NSW fee again. In this case, players will only need to register for the specific competition, but will not be charged again (as long as they use the same log in).

Competition Details:

Commences Thursday 13th October 2022

Grab a group of friends and enter your own team or join an existing team and make new friends.

Teams must have no less than 8 players and no more than 11 players.

Umpire your own game or use a SHNA umpire. SHNA Umpires are $20.00 per game for women’s and mixed or $10 for Juniors/teen, limited availability, To book an umpire please see the umpire coordinator in the clubhouse prior to the start of the game.

All players must be registered with Netball NSW as a player for insurance purposes.

The Competition will run for 10 weeks starting Thursday 13th of October 2022

Wet weather cancellation – A message will be updated on socials to advise cancellations due to weather. These games will not be rescheduled.

Divisions offered for Spring Twilight 2022:


Juniors


Group 1 – NSG Registration 8 – 10 year olds - Mixed 4.15pm – 5.00pm

Group 2 – Junior Registration 11 – 13 year olds – Mixed 4.15pm – 5.00pm

Seniors

Group 1- Junior Registration Teens 13-17 year olds– Mixed 5.15pm – 6.00pm

Group 2- Senior Registration Women’s (14+) 6.00pm – 6.45pm

Group 3- Senior Registration Mixed (16+) 6.50pm – 7.35pm

**Times and divisions will be subject to change pending participation.


Twilight Rules

· Minimum of 5 players and maximum of 7 players on the court per team

· You can’t step of run with the ball

· A maximum of 3 males can be on the court for a team, spread into 1 in each third

· Netball is a non contact sport

· There is to be no backchat to the umpires

· Please remove all jewellery for your safety & others (wedding rings and medi alert bracelet accepted.

· It’s not scored, just have fun.
